Yes! - For over 40 years, our school has had the honor of presenting the story of the birth of Jesus at Nuremberg Castle during the annual Nuremberg "Children's Lantern Parade" in the Advent season. Around 40 selected students rehearse from November onwards in magnificent costumes for the scenes of the play, which is finally the destination of the lantern parade in Nuremberg's Old Town in mid-December.

A nativity play at the school?
Even the 5th grade classes are participating:
They, along with other schoolchildren from Nuremberg, parade with their many lanterns to Nuremberg Castle to watch the older students from our school portray Mary, Joseph, angels, kings, and shepherds on a specially erected stage. This day is very special for all of us and fills us with the Christmas spirit every year.
